In the 1930s, Scialom moved to Paris, where he worked at Harry's New York Bar, a popular spot frequented by American expatriates, writers, and artists. He was known for his attention to detail, his flair for presentation, and his ability to create cocktails that were both delicious and visually stunning. In the 1940s, Scialom moved to New York City, where he worked at the St. Regis Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria, two of the most prestigious hotels in the city. He continued to experiment with new ingredients and techniques, and his cocktails became even more elaborate and sophisticated.

Scialom was not only a talented bartender but also a charismatic and charming personality, who was loved and admired by his customers and colleagues. He was known for his sense of humor, his generosity, and his willingness to share his knowledge and skills with others.

After a long and illustrious career, Scialom retired in the 1970s and moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, where he spent the rest of his life.
